There are those days when you wonder if its the end of the road; if the elusive bird has gone south. And you hear others declare the fulfillment of their own dreams and long to be in their shoes.

On one hand, I'm convinced life is to be simple.  But I can't do it.

But how much should I risk; how close to the edge should I walk? And what is the edge anyway?  Is it as simple as financial security and comforts?

And I listen to the simplicity of my daughter's games and long for her in the moment way of life.

I remind myself Today truly has enough troubles of its own.

a lot said in so few words!  I always enjoy your writing.  You have a gentle way with words and deep thoughts.

Have a good week, Copperbell.

Copperbell,
The good news is we can't see the future. We were not promised tomorrow. And today will keep us occupied, if we focus. But always we worry about our kids. Always.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
