of Depression

The morning light takes the night and with it my dreams of fright, nightmares ridden to a waking of unrest and yet too much to do.  A Monday morning, a week beginning, or shall I say a weak beginning where the coffee streams down my throat to slap my conscience to the fetid reality that has become my existence.  Everything is wet.  It has been raining again, but it seems like it’s been raining all the time.  The humidity is so thick, the fog so heavy that it condenses on my car window as if it was raining and I have to run the wipers as I drive.  The slow slapping measures the hum of the engine and noise of the tires and the bump over the cracks in the road.  It’s a dirge of the predawn.  How can someone expect to fight depression on such a day?  Where are the bright smiling faces and the sweet voices with encouraging words?  Are they lost in the fog?  Do these residual images of the gruesome dreams still silence them also?  Will they fall prey to the demons of Monday Mourning?

This sounds like me!!!  We've had rain every single day for 6 months, and I'm beyond tired of all the rain.  Last year we were in a drought.. go figure.

I get depressed when it's raining or cloudy.  I've heard that other people actually love that kinda weather, but it's not for me.  I have too many demons that like to come out of the closet when it rains.  Maybe it's the heat from the sun that keeps everything inside of me, and makes me happy

Hmm, Very much expressive of me. Would you mind, If I used that in my prose and poetry speech? If I write my own, I would have to be in original/oratorical, and it is full.
