I need to find out a comlete poem about a poppy the only part of the original poem i can remember is this, as i was going for a walk i met a maiden all forlorn, she bowed to me and bid good day and then she turned her head away. she wore a scarlet petticoat. the next day she had gone and it works out that she was a poppy. my nan learnt it at school and she is now 94 years old and is unable to help me because she has had a stroke and cannot talk to good. i would love to know the name and author.If anyone can help me it would be very much apprecited. |
