Hey Guys,

I don't know whether or not your familiar with baby shower traditions but I have one coming up very shortly. My mom is due May 10th and we're looking for a poem. One such tradition is the wishing well. Guests just place small gifts in a wishing well set up at the shower but don't put their names on them or anything. What we are looking for is a poem to put in the invitations telling people about the wishing well. I have an example we found. It has the basic message but we don't completely like it.

Diapers, Bottles, Clothes galore
We have some but we still need more
If you could pitch in to help with these
Mommy and daddy would sure be pleased
With your donation your name please don't tell
It's just a little contribution to our wishing well

If you can help, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

~Susie

Many people hear voices when no one is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up in rooms where they stare at walls all day. Others are calle

What a neat idea!

I played with a bit and came up with this.
You could leave out the "please."

Diapers, bottles, clothes galore
Our sweet babe will need much more
Rattles, clippers, things as these
Will help make Mom and Dad real pleased
Anonymous, your name don't tell
Please contribute to our wishing well
