Poeminister, tanka is basically 5-7-5-7-7 syllable count and it can be about everything and anything.... now that you know, i will be waiting for some delightful tankas penned from your pen...im sure you will do fine not begging for a read, but you may want to read my Christmas tanka and Tropical Monsoon tanka in open#11 if you will like to read some samples of tankas....
