William Faulkner ? I think I heard this somewhere ... something about being too short and refused for enlistment in the United States Air Service. Yeah, I'm sure of it ! Right ? Yep, twas Faulkner... changed the spelling of his name and went to Canada to join up... never left the North American continent during the war. |
