As I walk alone Darkness finds my feet Loosing my way home Sometimes loosing all of me For a chance to find Something I may never know And if I loose my mind I've got nowhere else left to go Well, its been a while Since you've seen my face And though I sometimes smile Its awkward and its out of place Comfort ain't no friend At least not one of mine But this road never ends It just winds and unwinds Feeling ten feet tall Six foot underground If I could not fall Bet you'd stay around Ain't no state of mind This place I'm living in I just need some time I will be fine again -jaimie Website: www.ladysixstring.com |

I liked this one, the rhymes are perfect!! Although the first time i read it i thought it would be kinda wild to feel "ten feet tall six foot underground" , and I have to admit that due to the lack of coffee tonight i couldn't really get quite a clear message that your entire poem's telling, (perhaps you can enlighten me a little on that one) still some of the lines are cool: "Comfort ain't no friend At least not one of mine But this road never ends It just winds and unwinds" Well, I'd really like to say don't let the ever-lasting road (whatever that is to you)make you weary but keep up fighting! "Give it some time, everything is gonna be fine again!" |
