Upon Writing Love Down Can it be contained within the trappings of a limited tongue? the tingling taste of blushing pink littered on lips bruised in passion's wake the gloss of sweated nectarines settled onto bodies after the summer of drama's ebullience? Can it be concealed within the restrictions of a language? the fullness of exchanged breath the embodiment of gravity's pull the fever of a furious pulse rising in orchestration with earth's melodious undertow? Can it be restrained within the press of pencil on parchment? the saturation of lonliness the urgencies of seperation the desire for a single touch when the miles stretch longingly across valleys of want? Can one circumscribe the boundlessness of love within the curve of the j within the seduction of the s within the fullness of the o or the tongue of the q within the encasements of a written word? or shall every letter fail miserably without you? |

Gotta tell ya... liked it, loved it, want more of it. Very few have been able to use ebullience in a poem and had it work for them. Hazzah! Hazzah! ------------------ Dum spiro, spero JP |

yeah, that darn word... If you think I've used it successfully (in other unmentionable websites, bernard didn't think so but oh well) -- then I consider myself in pretty excellent company... *wink* thanks for the comment... |
