Someone Like You

An original individual born
into a recycled world.
Growing up.
Blinded by monotony,
and hiding who she really is.

How strange,
living after the death of ideas.

A sensitive soul recieving
negative emotions
strives to be strong.
Erecting a wall covered with words
like happy and joyful and smile.

Purity, fear, and reality.
Words hiding behind.

Someone is reaching out to her,
another lonely soul.
A strong hand reaching around
a wall covered with words.
A soul with eyes that see.

She smiled when he
gave her his words.

Thoughts keep thinking,
not hearing her cries of warning.
Restrained too long.
Breaking fee.
Crashing through monotony.

How strange
Finding someone like you.

i really like this. the choppiness of lines extrapolates the feeling of brokeness and desparation. i especially like the images of "recycled world" and "wall covered with words" very precise

nice work
