Dear Friend,

There seems to be something missing...
I know I haven't lost my mind
And while I've seen that smile closer
Some would call me blind.

There seems to be something missing,
like the willow tree without the tears
and time will only lie without
each and every passing year.

And my heart blazes for those times,
when I could laugh and smile desire,
now the ice that chills the soden candle,
craves for the morbid fire.

There seems to be something missing,
and my mind forgets to think about you.
For my heart occupies all the time,
anxoius for something new.

And the fires below and above,
turn creavices into canyons within,
with blackness racing closer,
I can only again begin.

There seems to be something missing,
and I am afraid to admit the truth,
with crumpled walls and a soggy heart-
I know that it is you.
