Mountainous layers of gellatinous mass. layer upon layer of disgusting, flowing ooze. the enormous piles of slop devour beauty and laughter. it blocks out all things that are precious and feminine from the entire world. people are not people really, they are just snivelling piles of waste taking up space on this less and less useful planet. the veil of disgust and horror covers the beauty and smothers the once tender laughter. tender and passionate hearts are turned to hardened cold rocks without the capabilty of being happy. uncapable, also, of loving a world that has performed an unjustice this significant. beautiful plastic faces surround an average, flawed being and laugh at the misfortune that they've never known. silicon robots form a cirle around a HUMAN. they carefully pick up attractive rocks with their well-manicured hands and pelt them at this human to somehow sadistically punish her for the forces of nature that made her so unnacceptably unlovable. she lays on the dirty ground, filthy and bloody, and watches the media-manufactured machines stylishly saunter away from her as if they'd done what was necessary. she revels in her knowledge that she is more attractive than any of these creatures she had just come in contact with. as blood pours out of her veins, she knows that it flows from a beautiful and radiant heart. |

Here, if anywhere, you can show us your true beauty, and we won't let any media-manufactured images get in our way of appreciating it. Your poem serves its purpose -- it is vividly frightening, but it shows us . . . and you . . . the way out. |
