Familiar Fitting room drape Enclosed cubicle odour Unfamiliar Cloth ridden smell Herringbone tweed scent Jacket related Politically made Carefully folded Carted, escorted to familiar roost. In need of fresh suit For a new corporate day Uncanny fitting event Pins stuck in folded hem Garment laid rhetoric Flash forward to coastal wash up Minus the starched leg cuff Poor odour wrinkles nostril; strange ecological dilemma familiar with increased dread Stench of sea life once prolific littered ashore gathers about tailored suit Outside the fitting room Minus the perfect measure minus the tailored ambience. The city resident marvels his concrete turf Turned glassed-in slabs Weather proofed Heat stoked Boils organisms cook alive Yet one dresses well on occasion Even dine in fancy company ignore the once unfamiliar Present urban score Until heavens cook Client purchases newer trend Made in some sweat shop independent of creatures washed ashore At base of new clothing trend Now familiar now, it is all related Mercury spikes One hunts for new clothing trend Fires blaze Heat consumes buyer, ocean food source alike exits stage left Now very familiar trendy boat load of boiled food source in exchange for an imperfect fitting Copy-written July 16, 2021 |

Ha...this was great. A very prolific look at life through the eyes of an article of clothing. Makes you wonder about the high dollar clothing and just whose hands had a hand in creating it...and where we all truly sit in life, being equal. If you believe in that. In the end, there's much more to life than just how good you look, but not too many people will concern themselves with more than just that. |
