Sigh Between Stars~ There... In that place between stars, When lying next to you, Your heart beats a song upon mine, Warmth of everything just felt, Our bodies hum, I'm adrift with you, Come undone with you, Dangling mid air, You've caught my breath, my all, You Stagger My Mind, There... lovely feeling to "dangle" in the air with someone and to feel among the stars which we are being on a tiny speck in the universe called earth...there is a good sense of pleasure, relief and support in this ethereal write. Nice one augustsky! |

Beautiful. And it demonstrates a style of poetry I appreciate, one I learned by reading Amitabh Mitra, an East London, South Africa poet and Doctor of Aerospace Medicine. Yet you are also able to write more complex pieces with seeming ease and comfort. I read more stuff in here than I comment on so I'm becoming familiar with everyone's writing, a poem at a time.
