Delicious moonlight pours over your skin,
shining like ivory set in the finest gold,
flowing in delicate curves that best resemble
places where beautiful things begin.

Raindrops freckle my windows as they fall upon you
and within you, as you lay on my bed, like a goddess at rest.
You, my sweet lover, my irreverently sexy 'house guest',
hiding now, in a place I wish to be.

Last evening, we traveled the sacred way
up your river of ecstasy, through the night, impeded only by a silky
sheet and a wine glass, and when you stood,
the sheet fell away, leaving you to the moonlight.

...and I, to recall the magic.
