Pleasures of Happy Go Lucky Valley

It was never a secret
in Pippi's circle
that she preferred
the great outdoors
to the confines of the house;
it was the thrill of
spending time in nature
with like minded explorers,
who felt like a house
was fine to sleep in,
but when the morning came
new adventures could begin,
no one ever accused Pippi of being a couch potato,
there was not one comfortable couch in her home
and there was no tv to watch to while away the hours
while filling a lazy cozy couch,
there was an assortment of friends and pets
that loved to explore the mountain ranges & valleys
that surrounded the town where she lived,
and she never lacked friends eager to venture there;
places they called Wolvertine Mountain
or Blue Sky Ridge, or the ultimate
pleasures of Happy Go Lucky Valley...
yes her horse lived there
and always had a ride to share.

Pippi sounds like a friend I'd like to have. All my friends love their phones and electronic gadgets too much.

Such an enjoyable read. Thanks for sharing.
