Some Other Morning Someone Else Will Know Some other morning someone else will know they'll be calling out your name they'll be mumbling way down low to the tune of a Nick Drake tune and the glue of somebody else's love will fix your picture frame but it'll still hang crooked like a politician moon and I'll be many miles away, trying and failing to shoulder the blame on some other morning someone else will know how to fix your antenna so your true blue light will show Some other sucker on somebody else's vine dying for a little commitment dying to put in just a little time taping together broken light bulbs to shine scattered light above your head something magnificent but still you have no idea how this flag unfolds and I'll be staring at my Chucks in a 7-11 choking on resentment here's some other sucker on somebody else's vine he's driving you too damn fast and ignoring all the signs Some other morning someone else will know they'll be writing your epitaph they'll carve it into your bones and fish for meaning in you and the joke that is somebody else's love will make you laugh but still I'd kill to be in his size eleven shoes and I'll be many miles away, trying and failing to clear a new path on some other morning someone else will know how to fix your antenna so your blue blue light will show On some other morning someone else will know how to decode your breakfast cereal mystery clues all I know is how to ever so ungracefully lose some other morning someone else will know how to win with you, how to make your true blue light show oh no oh-oh no On some other morning someone else will know...
