When One Paints Ghosts Painted ghosts on a canvas covered, freshly gessoed 'artist' board and left it there to dry, for two days longer than needed. Arcylic paints don't need days to dry, but I was so surprised by what I saw that I let it sit until time became days: your face never appeared - neither your smile, or the blue of your eyes. It's true then - when one paints ghost, on a white-gessoed painters canvas, you never see your heart again. © wesley james beard, jr. |

I agree this is deep waters. Had to read again, looking for a ghost... But sad and sweet, a haunting memory one cannot forget. |

The ghosts that haunt...indeed. So good to read you again my dear friend. "In yearning for nothing, you will be free to enjoy what you do, free to see the patterns, free to hear the music in all things." |
