Precious One~ Safe and warm against her back his heartbeat gives her hope, through many moons they'll walk the path of struggle, yet joy will light their campfire. She will teach him lessons that hide in every leaf and rock, wish his eyes many red-bellied sunsets, sing him tales echoing the hills of a million stars, Mosaic skies will trail their footsteps.. she and her precious one. Of the Kiowa Tribe, in the pure lands of long ago.. before drums went silent, before the caging of souls. ©Augustsky |

Beautiful! All children should be taught these things. I wonder if there is anyone left to do so. There is too much inside and not enough outside. "How much is real? So much to question An epidemic of the mannequins Contaminating everything" Stone Sour |

quote: To say you have a way with words would be a grand injustice. I have enough Indian blood in me to deeply mourn the ways that were lost, the lessons of preserving a land that in turn preserves you. I can only imagine what the skies were like 200 years ago, and how pure things like stars and sunsets would have been. Beautifully told, Sky~ Michael |

Sky, I have not been here for a long time, but it is a pleasure to find your words here in the halls of blue. |
