Eyes That See

Sunrise fills the sky with promise
of beginning to start anew
Promise to brighten another
to lighten their lives with our love

Shies of blue fill the horizon
with color from light to azure
Horizon reaching east to west
a gift to all from loving soul

Gentle winds caress summer leaves
giving those shade sitting below
Leaves of green of every hue
filling trees all around the world

Flowers bloom of endless colors
granting beauty upon us all
Colors that nature intended
to bring joy and hope to mankind

Streams, rivers, and oceans flowing
their voice touches spirit deep
Flowing on from past to present
the effect felt eternally

Mountains majestic in their height
reaching heavenward heads upraised
Height looking toward our Gods’ throne
Revealed for unblind Eyes That See

God's presence is all about us in the the natural beauty of the earth.  I need to remind myself to slow down and appreciate it more on my long commutes through the nearby mountains daily.

Thank you for the beautiful reminder, Karen.
