So long before, they spoke their minds. They were fluent in love possibilities, and desires. Now the words get stuck. She folds up thoughts tucking them away for a better time because how many times a day does he really want to hear about how sad she is while he is powerless to cure it with arms and a bend of head to bury his nose in the scent of her hair? And how hard is it for her to not hear back the echoes of love and ache from his vastly scarred chest? Primed rooms stand bare and paint still sealed has drawn a protective covering of dust. There are things that they just do not speak of anymore. Maybe because fantasy does not suffice in the face of the real memory Where they did most all of the things They pretend to do now. "How much is real? So much to question An epidemic of the mannequins Contaminating everything" Stone Sour |

Your muse is in serious overdrive I see. Hate the pain that's oozing off your poetry but it does so beautifully. Powerful piece. Michael |
