In the rearview mirror

I’m leaving you behind,
O CITY. Talkative, rambling,
You know only SPARKLE,
You don’t know how to give love,
I leave you in my rearview mirror
You set me up, what a big trap,
From your bright POSTERS, whimsical Neon Lights,
Brilliant, tirelessly display cases,
O the countless nets,
O hasty and talkative girls,
The girls covered in fake jewelry,
You don’t know, City, giving love,
But to demonstrate, to feel guilty, to draw ideas,
O CITY, I leave you behind
TWINKLE, TWINKLE, TWINKLE,
Your passions are so complex,
Unfortunately, your feelings are superficial,
O young girls and their learned mirrors,
O mature women and their salons,
Adolescents and their small communities,
Too short FLICKERINGS,
I’m leaving you, and you too people,
I leave you, O CITY,
You don’t know how to give love,
I’ll leave you alone,
The ROAD is before me,
quiet, Slow and infinite.

There are so many great lines here, and much truth when talking about young girls and women. I love being in the city, but this does make me want to slide quietly and into the front seat beside you.
