Inaccessible I reach for what I know I know, Perched on the cusp of thought. It wanes, a fading afterglow, Though once it burned white hot. In mind, the truth of it lingers If just beyond the reach Of psychological fingers Withering in beseech. Disheveled shelf of memory I can’t find my way to. Each day, one more tossed to a sea Of black I can’t wade through. Beyond my grasp all disappear, Still I can’t help but see In the time lapse what I most fear, The day I’m no more me. So ‘try to live for the moment. Too soon, the moment gone. Like with a chance to compliment, Breath hesitantly drawn. A little further every day, I ride the parable... A life slowly slipping away, Already inaccessible. Michael Anderson |

Michael...If I am right in my assumption I get this and you know why, having gone thru the last 2 months of loneliness. When you love someone and you lose them it is very very hard to deal with. Take care my friend, ...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Michael, nicely done. This verse struck me as being very thought provoking. "Beyond my grasp all disappear, Still I can’t help but see In the time lapse what I most fear, The day I’m no more me." To tell you the truth I think you'll always be you in one form or another. I also think you'll compensate your feelings from an inner peace we all come back to....
