You can see the hardness- That comes from all the dirt. You can see the harshness, But you can’t see the hurt. You may judge me harshly- I really do not care- For you, and people like you- All helped to put it there. You can’t know the loneliness- I feel when in a crowd- Nor feel the deep frustration That I’ll never speak aloud. So, tend to your own business, Is my advice to you- I’ll take advice from Shakespeare- To my own self be true. |
