To write requires some thinking-
And likewise needs a goal.
Perhaps no more than: “I was here”.
On life’s on-going scroll.

The maudlin words of romance-
Observations of the sage…
Are often found in tandem,
On life’s immortal page.

To write, sometimes, means bare your heart-
Put feelings on display,
Feelings of regret and shame-
Emotions given play-

Sometimes, to write, is one recourse-
For clearing cluttered mind-
If it will help, then, write on friend!
Perhaps true peace you’ll find.

John,
I know writing has always been therapy for me.
I'd be lost without it.~L
