The sunrise the other morning was spectacular in pinks. My someone special to share it with was still getting forty winks. We are like two ships passing in the dark at dawn. He is asleep, gently snoring, while I am awake and very boring. Trying to stay quiet as a mouse, I resist urges to clean house. Try as I may to get sleepy, it never fails to happen, that my eyes don’t close until the bedroom door comes open. I’m ready to snore when he’s ready for coffee. He needs the news, I need a little snooze. We kiss good morning as we cross paths. LGR(C)8/2/19 |

You should have chosen an early riser like myself. Our situations are the same, but the participants switched. Well said, milady, |

All in all, I think ships passing in the dark have to be be better off than ones lost at sea. just my bleak as usual perspective. ![]() |

Thanks guys, He is an early riser now by choice to have coffee with me before I leave for work. As for you Michael and being "bleak" put me in mind of another chronic gloom-attude. Eeyore! However bleak you may be,you are as he is,kind and lovable, wise and whimsical in your distinctive dread. ~L |
