21 September 2017 This is Pentukeeb Ord, bringing you breaking news: Today a butterfly landed on a tiny skyblue flower and the gold on his wings glinted in the sun; A little girl fell and scraped her knee. Her mother picked her up and kissed the knee better and a captivating smile radiated on an upturned face; A dog’s tail nearly wagged itself off when his mommy, for the umpteenth time that day, sparked the magic word, “Fetch!”; A black velvet kitty purr-pawed and gentle-clawed her mother’s lap while her brothers, one black velvet too, the other intricately painted tabby and white, played soccer with a piece of white plastic pipe skidding across the kitchen floor; A member of the board smiled unexpectedly and tightened faces around the table relaxed into relief; and all the while, without a sound, nor a moment’s complaint, hesitation, nor ostentation, the mighty earth faithfully continued to rotate on its axis once in just under the twenty-four hours spanned by this newscast.
