Soon the sunrise will paint the gray horizon with radiance to greet me as I head down the black top towards the highway. All winter I have waited in the dark for the sun to return as I travel to work in the morning. I eagerly await the pinks and orange that burst above the trees for me to see. A brilliant gift from God, that on some days, feels as if it was made just for me. LGR©5/6/19 |
