Quest Thru Time By Paul Wilson Voices surround me… heard all the time whispers that I can’t quite make out Dreams that wake me from a sound sleep nightmares that haunt me…make me shout The Sun and Moon defines our being crossroads in life… which path do we take Who will follow…who will lead mountains will crumble hearts will break Voices driving me onward not knowing why or where they will take me on this quest Dreams of those I do not know haunt me from high on mountains crest Pathways followed on my quest lead me beside calm streams Voices accompany me all the time sounds of laughter…sounds of screams Strangers nod their head as we pass each other going in different directions on the same quest Always looking forward never back never stopping too rest The Sun greets me…voices never stopping as the moon hides behind tomorrows shadows Follow the stars the moon whispers softly too me as it waits in repose I have but one question to ask if you dare join me as we search Will you believe in what you find will we find the answer in the stars or the voices Copy Righted 4-4-19 ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (04-05-2019 07:03 PM).] |
