Thunder crashes overhead, Shadows casting from the corners I couldn’t hold it in. Haven’t I tried, Hard enough? Looking around me, All the chaos falling To pieces on the floor Haven’t I cried, Long enough? Spinning hands, Broken clock Time just stands still Why is it not, Fast enough Silence, breaks me Chains me up, But I am halfway out the door |

You go girl! I really like the power behind these words. You are almost there. Keep going and don't forget to slam the door behind you. ~L |

Heh.Heh . . . I cannot think of words to comment on after reading Lori's comments! But I am 100% percent behind her. Never stop. Keep on keep on keeping on! ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Kellie...Beautifully written. I will be waiting for the final stanza, where you keep walking out that door, never looking back only forward to a better life...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Life is a series of doors, dear Kellie. The last one closes on you. I always have time for you... |
