from nothing unto nothing my castle, your castle in addition to all I have ever done is but a dream within a dream cruel words forgotten dreams and schemes walking hand in hand with the futility of it all what choice do we really have some say we have no choice our footsteps have been programmed before we were born to walk that walk to reach out with the jive talk programmed . . . they say we have no whatsoever about it if we do everything just right we shall rise up into the sky side-by-side with Jesus Almighty naw . . . that ain’t the way its done by God nor by Jesus or by the Heavenly Choir singing Johnny-be-Good Eh . . . that may work for you and you and yours but not by me and a few other folks not to worry I will, of course be born again reincarnation awaits . . . © May 18, 2018 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Not all flavors of Christianity promote the idea that your life is preordained. They are in the minority in fact. As are the Evangelicals. Life is not futile just because it has an expiration date. All life does. That is what makes us an inherent part of the ecology of the planet. We can either be eco-friendly or a biohazard. Literally or figuratively. You aren't done with this life yet buddy, you are like an old tree and still growing.I wouldn't waste much time wondering about other ones just yet... L |
