Going to work in this same old place draping the boss in gold Keeping the politicians safely tucked within their fold But that won’t stop my baby from coming home to me one day Just take a look at what I've got And listen when I say…. I’ve got sunshine in the day, I’ve got the shining stars at night, and the clouds that blow my way will pass again, so that’s alright Got no rumble in my belly when I curl up in my bed Then there’s this never-ending song that keeps revolving in my head Please... understand she’s in the marrow of my bones I can’t see this world in any other way There’s nothing that’s more grand in polished gold and precious stones when the hardness in my heart just melts away ...just bein' Bluesy |

Bluesy, "when the hardness in my heart just melts away" What a wonderful end to a great poem! You write the best mushy stuff ever! ~L |

It's gonna be one fine day, Bluesy, when you and your true love finally get back together. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
