An orange crescent moon smiled down at me from the predawn sky, greeting me with a warm April morning. Dressed in a tie dyed Tee, leggings and sandals, I’m set to meet the day and her summer mocking ways while it lasts. Freezing cold is on its way again, just in time for the weekend. The cold is getting old as we get impatient with Spring and her lack of lingering. Nature proceeds unheeded. Blooms, babies and birds abound. Too soon and we will find ourselves cursing the heat. 4/12/18 LGR© |

There's "two-for-the-price-of-one" here, Miss Lori. Poems, that is. I like the first one much better! ![]() ...just bein' Bluesy |

I hear you loud and clear, Lori. Kansas and other parts of the country have been blasted with old man winter far too many times in the first days of spring. Enough already!! ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

What a beautiful day today Bluesy. Our gauge says 90 (but it could be off a little on the high side). And am I out in it? No! I'm in my chair in front of the fan, writing. I SHOULD be walking the dog. ![]() |

I have decided it really doesn't do any good to complain about the weather. It is a waste of breath. I have more important things to waste my breath on. Thank you for commenting, your last remark made you sound like a Kansan. ~L |
