Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I know you went through hell and back
I was there with you.
Things still aren’t the best,
I know, I’m still here.
The pain and fear
drove you insane
inside yourself
and away from me.
I’m waiting for you to come back
to me like you are waiting
on your saliva glands to produce.
Seems like forever.
Things won’t be ‘normal’ until then.
This is no way to ‘live’.
We hate it.

Spring is a season of renewal and it is nigh upon us. My hope is that the spirit of the season brings warmth, peace, and consolation to you, my friend.

Spring-a-ling-a-ding-dong is my favorite song and the birds outside are warming up to sing it. Its all good and getting better. Its an intangible thing I'm missing and love will prevail. ~L
