Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Clouds drift overhead as if they are
on their way to somewhere important.
They gather together in great clusters
migrating across the sky.
They have no time to waste on fluffy shapes
as they disappear past the window sill.
The sun is shining on a blue cloudless view,
waiting on the wind to herd white clumps on through.
Birds with beaks to the wind flap wings going nowhere.
Jets leave behind short comet tails that soon dissipate.
We fancy Spring is on her way and we hope she isn’t late.

This is a great line because it reminds me of times when I could look up at the drifting clouds and wonder indeed, where they were going.

Now, I check the weather and there before me is the radar image showing exactly where they're going. No mysteries left.
I should stop checking and just enjoy them again. Go outside and learn to "feel" the weather, too.

Hmm. What if I make picnic plans and I'm wrong?

Hmm. Reality, such as it is, says there's not much need to gamble anymore when you can get so close to a sure thing.
Even Yogi couldn't make off with my picnic basket 'cause it's outfitted with GPS!

Hey hey Boo-boo, Yogi is not the average bear. He would eat your GPS and once and for all answer the age old question about bears pooping in the woods. Not only do they, but just exactly where. ~L

"Not only do they [poop in the woods], but just exactly where..."

Now, who in their right mind would want to know that!?!
