It Is What It Is Sometimes you have to subtract from your life those people that don't honestly care for you, so you can make more room for those that honestly do; when you care for someone that doesn't care how you feel you have created a false impression in your mind that can never be fulfilled, having thoughts in your head, taking you to places where the other person doesn't want to go, and they will not take you to the place they don't want to know, they will be busy instead taking themselves to the places they want to go: it is what it is, some care for you and some don't, some will be who you want them to be and some won't. How true! I'm finding out more of this all the time! I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not like the passengers screaming in the back of his car. |

True James, but the trouble is once you care, you care, and in my experience that caring lingers in spite of the hurt. |

Some people care because it's their nature to do so. Some people care just because they want to. Touch, but don't look |

Isn't it always about humans and their nature? Animals just accept things as they are, prancing about singing "it is what it is until it isn't anymore". You've described 'us' well JM, but secretly...we already knew it. ...just bein' Bluesy |

it feels better to be on the inside looking out than on the outside looking in... when talking circles of friends |
