Its Halloween, its Halloween,
and scaring children is our dream.
Better watch the moon up above,
We are not here to show you love.

Oh, knock on any door you want,
while you jump up and down and taunt.
The Wolfman will open that door,
and he is drooling all that blood.

Trick or treat not for you tonight,
its all about blood gore and fright.
Better run to mom and daddy
that’s where you should go, laddie.

Look! The Joker to fill you with dread,
behind him the Dark Knight, half dead.
They have all gathered around you,
Mean Scooby Doo looking to chew.

I have warned you, but you won’t mind,
tried to tell you what you would find.
Run! That’s right! I hope you make home.
Run! before they all get to you.!

I'd love to see you dressed up as the Wolfman scaring kids! That's kinda neat and a good poem too!

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not like the passengers screaming in the back of his car.

DV, sorry I haven't thanked you on your comments on my poem, it just slipped by me. I so appreciate your kind, kind words.
