The life lasts three seconds,
A yellowed photo of cubs,
A glass of whisky,
A girl who forgets you,
It is already time to go away,
The life lasts three seconds,
Let us think only of loving her.

I think, I hope, your watch is running a little fast. Mine says it's 12:52, what does yours say?

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not like the passengers screaming in the back of his car.

Actually, there is some truth to the "3-second rule" that your poetry implies, Yann. Most of us don't see our activities in the 'now' as Bruce Adams often reflects. So just how long of a time-span is the "now"? It's about three-seconds long. So, we see in front us, our "life" if you will, not much further than three-seconds. That doesn't mean we can't think further ahead, of course. It just means  in the execution of movement.
