The life lasts three seconds, A yellowed photo of cubs, A glass of whisky, A girl who forgets you, It is already time to go away, The life lasts three seconds, Let us think only of loving her. |

Actually, there is some truth to the "3-second rule" that your poetry implies, Yann. Most of us don't see our activities in the 'now' as Bruce Adams often reflects. So just how long of a time-span is the "now"? It's about three-seconds long. So, we see in front us, our "life" if you will, not much further than three-seconds. That doesn't mean we can't think further ahead, of course. It just means in the execution of movement. ...just bein' Bluesy |
