thoughts of embracing
       the lady I love
Autumn comes quietly

even though thoughts
     turn to Autumn
my heart lies elsewhere

dusky September sunset
     her smile shames
   the Autumn moon

stepping around the
first Autumn-rainbow
    leaves
yearning for her touch

pure, clear moonlight
and fireflies that vanish___
all there is

deep forest heart
I hate to step on
fallen leaves
to choose the path
   not taken

Misty Autumn
   morning
as in a painting
or a dream
lovers passing

I like your chain of thoughts for the coming fall season Bruce.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.

Thanks, Ari !

(rather hard to believe we're on the cusp of Fall already ... begins tomorrow officially!)
