       Autumn Preludes

In these final days
of September passing
to that magic nether
land of fine warm Summer
memories and dreams,
red maple leaves whirl
in a wide, wild wind
that whispers with
the voice of Autumn
to a deepening grey and
  brooding sky…
that the only certain certainties
amid all which we might seek
are transience and change
and faith in the reality and
persistence of Love.

...and this is good for all seasons. Well said Bruce, all within an enjoyable piece of poetry.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.
