when a party
For those who take the road ?
Who crossed Utah and Kentucky,
For those who have only an idea in mind,
Do not release the steering wheel
Or the accelerator pedal,
Those who look at the landscapes
Making striptease,
Those who sometimes sleep
In the middle of cactus,
Who eat sausages,
In small villages in the desert,
when a party
On the road 66 ?
For those who keep their dreams
Enlightened by neon,
For those who do not forget
That a road undresses us of everything.

Okay, I completely relate to this, Yann. I spent many years crossing the varied roads of America. Slept in the open, sometimes in alleys

No job took me on the road, Yann, although I worked as a linotype operator for the most part. But I worked many different jobs from dishwasher to the linotype. I was born to ramble, I spent a couple of decades trying to find myself. I call them my two lost decades.

Creative images here....I really liked the line about the strip teasing landscapes. Can't say I've ever thought of it like that before!

if there is a good idea, i achieved my poem, I do what I can to be a "true" or may be not poet

You are quite welcome! It should say "teasing" in my previous comment, not "reading." My phone auto corrected me and I didn't notice til now.

When I was young we traveled from state to state as my Dad went where the work was. This poem pretty much says it all, yann.
