Thoughts of New Love

Ridge upon ridge
tree upon tree
march in endless
  cadence
through this ancient
forest of dreams,
with shadows and
moonbeams dancing
to the song of a
soft Summer wind,
when the night wears
her deep-velvet cloak
of infinite stars and
moon-bright clouds.
What could be more
palliative and fine …
than evenings like this
and thoughts of new
   love

Nothing in my realm Bruce. Calming and comfortable writing.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.
