Love went back to Wallingford bridge; rowed a dreamer's dream, upstream, to glorious, Day's Lock. It spanned a narrow-arched bridge that lead to Saint Peter's church. And up we went, to the Clumps. Salad sandwiches, and passion; no ration. Love was good that day. |

The love and romance is tangible. Thanks for taking me back. Had me swooning and sighing, remembering when. Brava Sir!! |

Wallingford bridge; is not that far from Oxford were I once spent an idyllic summer with a girl from Somerville College. Neither of us were in for the long haul so no talk of rings and things. Just content to be with each other without the complications and we parted as friends. Happy days as yours were no doubt. Nice poem, I like you’re style. Cari. |
