Sometimes the world sticks out a helping hand, Almost like it had already been planed. There was a person who’d fell on hard times, Found it was going to be a hard climb. There are angels who do reside with us, Unseen; but still there who rates us a plus. When things begin to be falling apart, Here comes that angel with help a la cart. Out of the darkness comes a shiny glow, Life now is back to steady as she goes. Such a fine piece of poetry Jerry. Encouraging and enlightening. A real "feel good poem" that might be the 'shot in the arm' we readers need when we begin to feel we have to 'go it alone'. Nice work Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

there's this ol saying, "What doesn't kill ya, makes you stronger". I believe that, along with a lot of other things, like, "if it wouldn't be for the hard times, how would we ever recognize the beauty and loving times, even if for only moments". I've also been blessed several times in my life, knowing people who were angels, like my foster mother, and girlfriends who were awesome women...and several men...one of which was a very good lifetime, friend who passed away. there are angles, all around us, is what this write reminded me of...lovely, thank you. |
