Solar Astronomer

White haired savant
she sits, pencil in hand,
with the sun in her arms
drawing it's spots.

Interesting little poem, Pete, especially the last line.

~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~

The words go together well, interestingly, (haven't had my coffee yet this morning) but you haven't sold it to me - I don't see it. . . .

like I said - haven't had my coffee yet this morning.

I was watching a TV programme on solar astronomy. There was a white haired lady, sitting on a small stool projecting an image of the sun from her telescope onto a sketch pad cradled in her arms whilst she drew / traced the sunspots.
