Thinking About Brain Food

"I like this plan;
it not only tells you
what's good for your brain,
it also tells you
what's bad for your brain."

Read a nutrition article;
claims the best foods for your brain
include blueberries, other berries,
leafy vegetables and nuts;
since these are some of my favorite
foods I'm happy to be agreeable,
also included are other healthy foods
I find equally hard to resist, like beans,
whole grains, poultry and fish;
the plan limits pastry and sweets,
and seems to discourage over
consumption of red meat.
A few other no no's you shouldn't abuse
include fried and fast foods...

Dear James, you share this wisdom in a very nice way.

Basic rules are necessary no doubt, to keep a right balance, but still allowing some food that besides the brain nourishes the heart, making us happy.

Love,
Margherita

Isn't it queer that some find 'life-extension' in foods while others prefer .45 caliber Colts and the like.

More feelings and fewer words please
