Memories of other lives, falling In crystal ball droplets From endings Seamlessly Passed on To new beginnings, Remembering The oft repeated song, To join The river once again Meandering along. Memories of other dreams, returning In green mossy blankets From visions Eternally Passed on To new beginnings, Magnificent Beneath the morning sky, Smiling on The river once again As it goes drifting by. Memories growing slowly, blossoming In fields of poppy fire From spirits Continually Passed on To new beginnings, So wonderful The tide of life still sings, Echoed on The river once again The joy of birth it brings. Memories whole again, laughing In happy realisation From pages Of evermore Passed on To new beginnings, To rise anew The way they did before, To join The river once again Upon life’s golden shore… |

I like the reiteration of various memories being passed on to new beginnings on the riverbanks. Lovely |
