Forget the Sleeping Beauty, Forget the too much made up jonquil, Forget the azure where you cannot think, Love waits for you more simply. Forget the moon which makes its prayer, Forget the saint who reads his poem, Forget the hot night with the cream Love waits for you if far from yesterday. Forget the castle near the sea, Forget the English(Shakespeare's style), Forget the stars which are delirious, Love waits for you without mystery. Forget the somersaults of the lobster, Forget the prosperous breasts, Forget the look in the bed of mint, Love waits for you by chance. |

I'm sorry Yann, but I could never for one minute forget these . . . quote: Don't know what the lobster was somersaulting for, but I know I would be turning flips for those "prosperous breasts." ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Oh my! Jerrypat you have me laughing so loud I woke up the dog! I don't forget too much either and really don't want to. Good poem though! If I were more than I am, I'd see things differently instead of the same all the time. |

thanks Jerry and dayofview, i am glad to put you with good mood, in french a somersault means something sexual too, it was supposed to be absurd and for me it means that even lobster have mind for that, have a nice day yann |

quote: So true, dear Yann. This is so vivid and passionate. I also had to smile reading your reply to Jerry regarding the somersaults of the lobster. When I read it in the poem I actually thought of the cruel way to cook the lobsters ... and if they were not bound they surely would do somersaults. Great job! Margherita |
