Write for me a novel. In any era, century not important. Just have plenty of mania; Love juices and love beads. Set the story in faraway places, under starlight and different moons. Call the story The Late, Great God. This is a personal thing for me, The story and the New York Public Library Where lions are forever on guard. ©January 6, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

I choose this: quote:...and I would have you write it. (Don't forget to feed the lions) 88's pal She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

I can’t supply you with a novel but I can recommend a book of Short Stories that, if kept by your bedside, will send you to bye byes with a smile on your face. The introduction goes like this--- Somewhere in the Valley of the Po River, there, between the Po and the Apennines, the climate is always the same - the landscape never changes and, in country like this, you can stop along any road for a moment and look at a farmhouse sitting in the midst of maize and hemp and immediately a story is born .... Many things can happen that cannot happen anywhere else. Here, the deep, eternal breathing of the river freshens the air, for both the living and the dead, and even the dogs have souls. The title is, The Little World of Don Camillo. Regards. Cari. |

Ahhh . . . Thank you for the title of the book. I may look into it. I hardly ever have trouble coming up with ideas. I have a lot of novels already written, and am looking at writing another one, entitled "After the End." ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

You come up with the most surprising things, dear Jerry. Write your new novel and maybe you will experience new revelations regarding the subject you choose. Don Camillo (and Peppone), as suggested by Cari, is indeed very famous here in Italy and we loved the movies, in recent years also shown on tv. A priest versus a communist mayor ... stories to no end offered with great wisdom and sense of humour. Ok, then, feed the lions. Margherita |
