You lay there so still As though you Are waiting, waiting For a special kiss Your gown flows Freely over your body As if twirling once more In a moonlight dance Your arms folded gently Beneath your breasts Your hands at rest One upon the other Just one last kiss My darling Just one more gentle embrace As my tears softly fall ...I will always love you Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Gentle and poignant, romantic too. I can also see it as a figurative representation of a "situation" you put to rest delicately, keeping the love alive within your heart. You always stir "heart motions", Mr. Martini! It's a beauty in its melancholy. Margherita (the smiley is for a healing effect ... ) |

Not unlike sleeping beauty except without the waking. Your dance with death here is to gentle music. ~L |

Losing the one you love leaves a long trail of tears to be sure. Whatever else you have written Martini, this rings true. If it isn't true, then somehow you've come to unnaturally possess an intuitive sense for death and sorrow. 88's friend She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
