Stepping into the Mysterious Future

Some enjoy living in the past,
however it doesn't exist anymore,
its only inside your mind;
memories of things that happened
to you in another place and time.
There's no future either,
there's only right now,
this very moment.
You may be rightly thinking;
well I'm pretty sure I'm
going to wake up in the morning,
as you go to sleep each night,
and I'm not saying you won't,
and I'm not guaranteeing you will,
however when you do wake up next morning,
the time will be this very moment,
and if you think about it,
you are only living this very moment right now,
you won't live that future moment until it arrives,
as you step into your mysterious future.

One day at a time..one moment at a time,
all I know is time seems to be flying by the older I get ;( a write to ponder Poet.

Dear James, you say it well, everything is happening in the Now. With our thoughts we may travel back into the past or paint a future which is out of reach, but as long as we are here within the limits of our body we can experience physically only just this moment. So much to ponder around this theme!
